Aberlour from a single refill hogshead: In the absence of sherry, expect a deluge of orchard fruit character in this very old example. In barrel from June 1994 to August 2019 before being bottled by Douglas Laing, the final outturn was limited to only 262 bottles. Expect fleshy peaches, raspberry conserve and cookie dough aromas with a thick and delicious palate of fruit compote, chocolate, creamy barley and a finish that goes on and on…
