Nomad Outland Whisky Triple Distilled Single Malt 70cl, 41.3%

Created using triple-distilled single malt from the Great Northern Distillery in County Louth, Ireland that was aged in bourbon casks for three years, this Nomad edition was then transferred to Bodegas González Byass where it is popped into oloroso sherry casks previously used to mature the González Byass Alfonso. The maturation takes a year before the whiskey is bottled up at 41.3% ABV.

Kavalan Distillery Select is one of the last additions to the multi-award-winning core range. They aged it in different refill casks, which gave it the best qualities that Kavalan whisky has. Lots of tropical fruits, vanilla, and toffee. Also, it all comes for a reasonable price.
Water is very important in whisky making, so the water can have a big impact on the taste of the whisky.
It took the founder of Kavalan Distillery a very long time to find the right place with the right water supply.
Ilan became his destination. There is enough cold spring water that flows through the Snow Mountain.
The Distillery Select is the first single malt from Kavalan, which was created for mixing cocktails.
This ‘mixology whisky’ was created by Master Blender Ian Chang.
This single malt is distilled from 100% malted barley in pot stills; the maturation takes place in selected neutral casks.
