First introduced in 2004, the Fine Oak range was a milestone for Macallan, as it was the first expression released by the distillery that was not solely matured in Sherry casks. The range was met with an initial scepticism from Macallan fans, but over the years it has won over many doubters.
The 17 year old edition of Macallan’s Fine Oak, showcasing the range of casks in Macallan’s extensive warehouses. The Fine Oak expressions are drawn from a trio of cask varieties – American and European oak casks seasoned with Sherry, as well as American oak casks seasoned with bourbon.

A limited-edition single malt from Glenfiddich, Grande Couronne has been finished in ex-Cognac casks and was bottled after 26 years. This is a combination of Scottish heritage with French opulence, a dram to be sipped and savoured.
