Sometimes our limited edition offerings prove so popular we have no choice but to keep them. We love it when that happens.
Absolut Gräpe was an evolution of our Absolut San Francisco limited edition. White grape, dragon fruit and papaya combined to provide smooth and fresh floral notes and subtle, fruity, undertones. Ridiculously easy to mix.
Absolut Gräpe.
Absolut Grapefruit, sibling to our other citrus flavors Absolut Citron and Absolut Lime, is one of our talented newcomers. With its well-balanced sweetness and fruity taste, we just know this will become one of your new Absolut favorites if you haven’t had the chance to try it yet. In our opinion, The Swedish Paloma is an instant classic, but we won’t hold a grudge should you find your own favorite. Pinky swear.

Wait. What?
With Absolut Illusion, we got playful. A limited edition bottle that inspired embracing the unexpected and to challenge perspectives in an innovative way.
At first glance it looked just like our classic Absolut Original bottle. On closer inspection some trickery was afoot.
Tilt it. Turn it. The Absolut Illusion label undergoes a playful transition where the liquid is used to magnify and mirror the logo, creating the illusion of the label floating in the Absolut Vodka inside the bottle. From some angles the logo seems to be moving around in the bottle of its own accord.
Real magic or just an illusion? And now for our next trick…

Thanks to many conscious conservation efforts, India is now the home of 70 percent of the world’s tiger population. For the sequel of our highly appreciated and successful Absolut India Limited Edition Bottle, paying homage to its national animal was a natural given.
With no less than 2,400 artistic contribution from the crowdsourcing platform Talenthouse India, the National Institute of Designalumnus Ajay Boga exceeded everyone’s expectations, and became Absolut’s next creative collaborator to honour our iconic bottle with his unique piece of art.
Ajay’s motif was inspired by the strength and the courage of a tiger, with various Indian patterns and elements highlighting the diversity, culture, energy and pride that the nation holds;
Peacock symbolising elegance, Banyan symbolising immortality and a depiction of India’s rich ethnic diversity. All of which beautifully comes together to form the majestic tiger.
Ajay’s inspiration also inspired us. We decided to team up with the organization“The Guardbook”and provided 180 anti-poaching camps with renewable energy, for the guards to live a safer life while trying to preserve the tiger and its ecosystem.
With our second limited edition for India, we are starting to understand why the tiger like it here.

A limited edition that seeked to awake the creative spirit in all of us.
Absolut Karnival paid tribute to the colourful and larger-than-life character of Latin America’s carnival scene. To truly capture this feeling who better to turn to than artist and writer, Rafael Grampá. His work is disruptive, lively and authentic and not only is he a native of Brazil, he’s had first-hand experience of the Carnival atmosphere his entire life.
This limited edition’s final artwork featured a cast of colorful characters on parade around the bottle. A dog dressed up as a rooster, a blue-faced giant happy to give a hug to whoever wants one, a beautiful “Queenfish”, and “The Freedom Knight” – a character Grampá describes as “a typical festival-goer who fights taboos and prejudice with joy and music.”
The taste of Karnival? This limited edition spirit shone with a tropical aroma of passion fruit and orange blossom. These rich, smooth, fresh and tropical flavors was combined to evoke some of the magic of carnival.
Our first limited edition for Latin America, Absolut Karnival was only available exclusively at local carnival festivals.
A litre bottle of Karnival, a limited-edition Absolut. The label has been designed by Brazilian graphic novel artist Rafael Grampá. Flavoured with passion fruit and orange blossom, this is a fruity number that evokes memories of warmer climes.
The story behind the name Absolut Kurant is black currant, a typical Swedish berry from which the flavor is taken. When launched in 1992 it was a tribute to the Swedish origin of Absolut Vodka. Originally it was even supposed to be called Absolut Vinbär since the Swedish word for black currant is vinbär. Only thing was that the English pronunciation would have been wine bar.

Blackcurrant. This sweet berry ripens in July – just as Swedes take their well-deserved vacation after having survived yet another long, cold and dark winter. Grown in your typical Swede’s country house backyard and in the wild, black currant is close to our heart for many reasons. This is our tribute to it. Skål!
