Glenlivet Nàdurra Oloroso Batch OL01117 (70cl, 60.3%)
The Nàdurra range uses traditional 19th-century production methods to create inventive and original whiskies. This version is matured in first-fill Oloroso sherry oak casks from the Spanish region of Perez. The sherry-soaked wood introduces the rich, sultry flavours of dried fruit and warm spice. Nàdurra Oloroso, like all expressions in the range, is bottled and released in small batches, and, unlike most modern whiskies, is non-chill filtered so has all the body you would expect from a whisky that has been drawn straight from the cask. It’s a bright, vivacious gold liquid, with aromas of dried fruit and spice. To drink, it’s smooth and creamy with chocolate and marmalade. This is a divine example of what happens when you bring together Spanish passion and Speyside tradition. This whisky is all about using traditions to achieve modern brilliance. The Nàdurra Oloroso is also bottled at 48% for Travel Retail.
Excellent oloroso sherry cask-matured single malt from Glenlivet’s Nàdurra range – bottled without chill-filtration or additional colours. Wonderful stuff by Glenlivet, as per usual.

Craigellachie 17 Year Old (70cl, 46%)
It used to be a rather rare sight to see an official bottling of Craigellachie single malt. Well after years of waiting, in 2014, four turned up all at once! The 17 year old expression really shows off the meatiness of this Speysider’s spirit – top stuff.

Tomintoul Cigar Malt (70cl, 43%)
A sherried single malt from Tomintoul, specially designed to be paired with cigars! A no-age-statement Speysider, which has been matured in Oloroso sherry casks, sourced from Andalucia. We reckon it’ll taste just as good on its own, with all of its chocolate and bramble fruit notes.

Benromach 15 Year Old (70cl, 43%)
Introduced to the Benromach line-up in 2015, this lusciously rich Speyside single malt is a fruity, chocolatey and lightly smoky dram that will delight fans of traditional styles.
Matured in a mixture of ex-sherry casks and ex-bourbon casks, with a greater emphasis on sherry than the Benromach 10 Year Old, this is a charming reflection of Speyside both past and present.
A 2015 release to the brilliant Benromach range. The Benromach 15 Year Old is matured in a selection of bourbon and Sherry casks, resulting in an intense but balanced flavour profile. There’s big spices (think ginger, mint and a little sprinkle of cinnamon), there’s juicy fruit (plum and clementine), there’s a touch of smoky charred oak – all well placed and in harmony with each other. Yummers.

Cu Dhub Black (70cl, 40%)
Cu Dhub, pronounced “kaddoo,” is actually a very loose recreation of a whisky called Loch Dhu, which was bottled for only a few years in the ’90s and managed to attain a sort of cult following during that time. Most reviews revel in how awful it is — primarily because it drew its color not from caramel but from extra-charred oak barrels, where it spent 10 years.
