Glenlivet 12 Year Old Illicit Still (70cl, 48%)
The story of The Glenlivet is an interesting one. Way back in the 1800s, founder George Smith managed to illegally distil his whisky in a remote Glenlivet Valley cottage using hand-crafted copper stills. To make it great, he evaded lawmen while smuggling his creation across the Scottish Highlands and the legacy lives on. After enduring the Great Depression and WWII to become one of the most acclaimed whisky brands available, the Scottish icon is now celebrating that rebellious history with The Glenlivet 12 Year Old Illicit Still.
This release is the first in a yearly limited edition series celebrating The Glenlivet’s past, each boasting new flavours and designs. The 12 Year Old Illicit Still itself is non-chill filtered and in keeping with drinks of old; has a higher than average ABV of 48%. You can enjoy it immediately, add it to your collection, save for the most special occasions or age it decades further as a collector’s item to sell down the track.
An echo of one man’s persistence in the face of mounting challenges, The Glenlivet 12 Year Old Illicit Still reminds us all to stay true to what you believe in. The Glenlivet 12 Year Old Illicit.
Aultmore 12 Year Old (70cl, 46%)

It’s been quite a while since a distillery bottling of Aultmore has been released, so this is all rather exciting indeed.
Glenfiddich Experimental Series Project XX Second Release (70cl, 47%)
The second release in Glenfiddich’s Experimental Series is their Project XX expression, which was made not simply by one Malt Master, but 20! 20 Malt Masters were invited to the Glenfiddich distillery and invited them to pick any expression from the thousands of casks maturing in the warehouse. The 20 chosen whiskies were then married by Malt Master Brian Kinsman to create this single malt you see before your eyes. Hooray for teamwork!

Glenlivet Distillers Reserve Triple Cask Matured (1L, 40%)
Master Distiller’s Reserve is matured in three different types of wood which gives this expression its unique flavour. First fill ex-sherry oak imparts dried fruit flavours and spice aromas which offer a deeper complexity and richness.

Malt master Brian Kinsman has given some of the distillery’s peated single malt a three-month finishing period in rum casks – but not just any old rum casks. He’s selected rum casks from a variety of South American countries to finish this whisky, which ought to play nicely with the burly peat notes at its core.

Tomintoul with a Peaty Tang (70cl, 40%)
We assume that this new no-age-statement peated Tomintoul must be similar to the Old Ballantruan but at a reduced strength. Either way, at this price it must be worth a punt for peatheads.
