A showcase of select casks producing a taste with their own individual characteristics.
This is the complete set of the Edition series which came to an end in Autumn 2020.
- Macallan Edition No.1 – A Taiwan and American exclusive, this is the first ‘Edition’ release which has been matured in 58% Butts, 23% Hogsheads and 19% Puncheons. 48%
- Macallan Edition No.2 – The second release is a collaboration between Bob Dalgarno and the Roca Brothers who run the world famous El Celler De Can Roca Restaurant in Catalonia, Spain. 48.2%
- Macallan Edition No.3 – Released in 2017, this third edition has been created in conjunction with Roja Dove, a highly respected ‘nose’ in the perfume industry. No. 3 is a blend of 3 types of cask bottled at 48.3%
- Macallan Edition No.4 – The 2018 release was intended to celebrate the design and craftsmanship involved in the new Macallan distillery which opened that year. Packaged in green to evoke the turf covered roof of the spectacular new site. 48.4%
- Macallan Edition No.5 – Released in 2019, Edition No.5 was a collaboration with the Pantone Color Intitute and celebrated the natural colour of Macallan. 48.5%
- Macallan Edition No.6 – The final edition takes inspiration from the landscape around the distillery. The liquid has been matured exclusively in sherry-seasoned casks – a select combination of first and second fill American and European Oak. 48.6%

Depth Charge Black Spiced Rum (70cl, 40%)

Depth Charge Spiced Rum packs a big, powerful flavour profile, having been made with a fantastic base of Caribbean rum, a selection of tasty spices and generous helpings of lime and mandarin at its core. The name comes from an ancient seafaring tale, where there was once a formidable sailor who encountered a fierce mythological sea monster, which defeated it comprehensively. But then, something appeared to challenge the sea monster – it was Depth Charge! Or at least, some version of that story. You can see what they did there. Anyway, expect this expression to be great served simply over ice with a good wedge of lime, and it should pair brilliantly with all those classic rum mixers we know and love.

Moonshot Gin (That Boutique-y Gin Company) (70cl, 46%)

Every gram of the botanicals used to make this gin was sent into near-space (over 24km) and exposed to an air pressure of less than 1/100th of that at sea level! That’s seriously low. In fact, if you were to find yourself above just 18km, also known as Armstong’s limit (where the pressure has already dropped to around 6.3 kPa or 1/16th of that at sea level), then the fluids in your body would vaporise!
Juniper, Coriander, Camomile Flowers, Fresh Lemon Peel, Cardamom, Dried Bitter Orange Peel, Cinnamon, Cubeb Pepper, Liquorice Root and Angelica were used. Oh, and Moon Rock. Obviously. Once they returned to earth, we vacuum distilled them at room temperature (at a pressure nearer 1/10th of that at sea level, in case you were wondering) for freshness and elegance.

The cucamelon is a wonderful fruit native to Mexico and Central America that looks like a tiny watermelon but tastes similar to a lime-dipped cucumber. Frankly they seem ridiculous, but cucamelons really do exist – and we made a gin with them!

A classic ultra premium Russian vodka, Stolichnaya Elit is made using freeze filtration, which was patented by the SPI Group (one of the world’s largest drinks companies, and also the owners of Stoli). The process involves filtering the vodka at -18 degrees Celsius. The result is a stunningly smooth vodka with an wonderful flavour of aniseed and spice.
