As a whiskey maker and a barrel maker, we see the barrel not simply as a container but as an ingredient. This unique whiskey began with a hand-crafted barrel that matured Jack Daniel’s. Once emptied, it aged fine Tennessee red wine. Then, finally it returned home to finish a small batch of our Tennessee Whiskey and delivers a 90-proof whiskey. What emerges from this second barreling are notes of caramel and oak with whispers of cherry and blackberry. We think you will be intrigued by this new finish and celebrate with us the reunion of our barrel and whiskey.

Considered an experimental whiskey, this limited release became available in October of 2018 and was sold exclusively at the Jack Daniel Distillery and at select liquor stores around the state of Tennessee. This line of whiskeys will make up a new series of bottles with Jeff Arnett’s Master Tasters choosing each one. This series will have a few new additions per year with each being limited to about 24,000 bottles.
Sold in a 375ml bottle, the whiskey found in the Hickory Smoked bottle matured in barrels with charred hickory staves which added a smoky flavor to the whiskey. This offering was bottled at 100 proof.
This experimental release saw the whiskey finished in barrels which used smoked hickory wood staves.

Royal Salute 21 Year is an homage by Chivas Regal to the newly crowned Queen Elizabeth II in 1953. At 21 years, it is also the youngest in the Royal Salute line-up. Why 21 years old you might ask? 21 is an important designation as it refers to the 21-gun-salute, for generations a form of honor and respect to sovereigns and dignitaries. The Royal Salute Jodhpur Edition pays tribute to the majestic polo arena that is Jodhpur. Trump Premium Vodka is created in Holland by the Wanders Distillers distillery, distilled from select European wheat five distillations four of them in activated carbon, and then rested for six months in stainless steel vats, this Premium vodka belongs to the billionaire and EX US president, Donald Trump.
In 2005, Drinks Americas signed with Donald Trump to promote a new brand of vodka which became known as Trump Vodka. The brand was launched with the slogan “Success Distilled”, with Trump predicting it would outsell Grey Goose vodka. He also said that when mixed with tonic, which he referred to as a “Trump & Tonic” (T&T), it would become the most drunk cocktail in the United States.
The Trump Vodka brand was discontinued in the United States in 2011 due to sales failing to meet the company threshold requirements. Several reasons were attributed for this. One was because Trump himself is a non-drinker and never drank Trump Vodka, as he blamed alcohol for the death of his brother Fred Trump, Jr. Drinks Americas also had problems producing it because the glass used in the bottles and the gold leaf labels were expensive and the company could not afford to produce them in large numbers. Behold, the very final bottling in the Game of Thrones Single Malts Collection! We present to you Six Kingdoms, a beasty 15 Year Old Mortlach. Those of you who are all up to date with Game of Thrones lore (and if you aren’t, beware of spoilers ahead!) will remember that there were in fact, seven kingdoms in Westeros, but in the season finale the North became independent, taking the number down to six. The Speysider was matured in first-fill sherry casks, with a finish in American oak bourbon casks. The limited edition single malt is bottled at 46% ABV, presented in a metallic gold presentation tube, decorated with a pen and ink drawing of the mysterious three-eyed raven (aka Bran the Broken). The show may be over, but long may it live in the form of delicious whisky!
This is the first in a new series that’s exclusive to travel retail. We’ve managed to secure a small allocation from a secret source.
“The Spice Road ” was created by master blender, Jim Beveridge, to evoke the aromas of Asia. It’s one of a series collectively known as “The Explorers Club Collection'” in reference to John Walker’s pioneering travel around the world to establish markets for his whiskies back in the 1800s. The Spice Road is the first in a sub-series named the Trade Route Series – the whiskies are inspired by the cultural richness that can be found on three of the world’s great trade routes.
Spice Road will be followed by ‘The Gold Route”, with tropical flavours designed to reflect the aromas of the Caribbean and Latin America, due for release in March or April next year. Finally, Johnnie Walker ”The Royal Silk Route”, the most expensive of the line-up, will hit airport shelves in May or June. We’ll see if we can source these releases as they go to market.
The Jack Daniel’s Single Barrel is whiskey which, in contrast to Old No 7, has been drawn from barrels which have sat maturing at the highest points of the Jack Daniel’s barrelhouses. At these higher points in the barrelhouses, just as in a second or third floor in a house, the temperature is likely to fluctuate more dramatically than at lower points. So, for example, during hot times (summer, the day) these higher points in the barrelhouses would likely be warmer than lower points, but during cold times (winter, night) these higher points in the barrelhouses would likely be colder than lower points. This means that barrels which sit at the highest points of the barrelhouses tend to be exposed to more extreme temperature changes.
Only one out of every 100 barrels are set aside to mature whiskey that becomes Jack Daniel’s Single Barrel.

Jack Daniel’s Distillery Distillery Series selection #11 is a Tennessee Whiskey that’s finished in Añejo Tequila barrels. Bottled at 90 proof, it’s available in 375ml bottles According to Chris Fletcher, Jack Daniel’s Master Distiller, “this añejo tequila barrel-finished whiskey pushes the bounds on what people may expect out of a Tennessee Whiskey, yet still has the familiar characteristics that are uniquely Jack Daniel’s.
The Distillery Series, as you may have gleaned from the name, are whiskey releases that are available to purchase from the distillery (and also at a few select Tennessee retailers). These are smaller bottles (375 ml instead of 750 ml) that are also produced in smaller batches in terms of the actual liquid. Past expressions have included a Toasted Maple Barrel Finished Rye and a Straight Tennessee Whiskey Finished with Toasted Pecan Wood Chips. This new expression, selected by whiskey taster Danny Lamb, is classic Jack whiskey matured in new charred American white oak barrels for at least four years, and then finished in barrels used to mature añejo tequila (meaning it was aged for more than a year) for one year and seven months. Parent company Brown-Forman owns a few different tequila brands, so while it’s not disclosed these barrels may have been used for Herradura or El Jimador.

The Maxwell House Decanter was considered one of the most beautiful of its time and oddly enough it was not Jack Daniel who was responsible for designing it. That honor instead went to Lem Motlow. The origin of this decanter’s name dates back to the year 1859 when Colonel John Overton Jr. began construction on a new hotel in downtown Nashville, Tennessee. Ironically, had it not been for a night out on the town, this hotel might never have been built…
Over the years, the Maxwell House Hotel became a well-known stopping point for famous people passing through the South. Lem Motlow knew of the hotel’s popularity and prestige and saw this as a business opportunity for the Distillery…

Making its debut in September of 2012, this new series celebrates the 7 Master Distillers throughout the history of the Jack Daniel Distillery. Officially released at the Distillery on August 11, 2012, the original White Rabbit bottle celebrates the 120th Anniversary of the opening of the Jack Daniel’s White Rabbit Saloon. While the Saloon is no longer around, part of its name can still be found in the Distillery’s Visitor Center at the White Rabbit Bottle Shop.
In July of 2013, approximately 1 year after the 120th Anniversary of the White Rabbit Saloon, an update to this bottle was made. Nearly identical to the bottle from 2012, the major difference is shown on the bottle’s front label and on the box where it now reads “Special Edition” instead of “120th Anniversary”. This small change was made so that the Distillery could continue celebrating the famous White Rabbit Saloon even after the 120th Anniversary date had passed.

The classic No.7 is one of the most popular whiskies in the world. The whiskey is filtered drop by drop through ten feet of sugar maple charcoal (known as the Lincoln County Process). The reason behind this is the distinct smoothness it generates making it a whiskey not bourbon. The water used is from a cave near the distillery that flows all year round at a rate of 800 gallons per minute at a constant temperature and is virtually iron free. These are the key ingredients and processes to make No.7 whiskey.
Gentleman Jack was one of Jack Daniel’s later creations made in 1988. The difference between Gentleman Jack and the rest of the Jack Daniel’s Whiskies is that it goes through the charcoal mellowing process not once but twice, giving it a more refined taste and worthy of being called a gentleman.
Jack Daniel’s Single Barrel is made in exactly the same way as No.7, it even includes the same ingredients. So what make this whiskey so special, it does have a higher ABV of 45% and is 100% proof but that isn’t all. The main difference is where the barrel is placed in the barrels house, for single barrel whiskies, they are placed at the highest point in the barrel house. Here the summer temperatures can reach well over 100 degree Fahrenheit and in the winter they can easily drop below freezing levels. These extreme conditions can cause the whiskey to move in and out of the barrel dramatically, resulting in the intense maturation needed to develop the unique flavour of Jack Daniel’s Single Barrel.

For Jack’s 160th birthday in 2010, the Distillery took the commonly used Heritage bottle, and with a few modifications, made a bottle unlike any before it. No longer clear glass, this bottle was painted black by Chattanooga Labeling Systems. The idea came from Michael Osborne Design, which also devised the black label for the bottle and the box in which it came. While the 750ml size is quite common, the 1 liter version of this bottle was only released in a limited number of states.

For Triskelion, three legendary Highland Park whisky makers joined forces. Together, Gordon Motion, Max McFarlane and John Ramsay chose and married three principal cask types, with the aim of exploring the influence of wood and cask seasoning. Cask Strength Release No. 1 is matured predominantly in sherry seasoned American oak casks of different ages, hand-selected by Gordon Motion, our Master Whisky Maker. It is then directly bottled – not chill-filtered – to ensure the essential DNA and natural colour of our whisky stays intact. There is nothing in this whisky other than the whisky itself. Nothing but the intensely balanced, award-winning spirit of Highland Park.
It is at once sweet and smoky on the nose, with aromas of violets and ripe vanilla pods amidst waves of aromatic peat smoke. On the palate, it is rich and full-bodied, with soft toffee, heather honey, freshly grated nutmeg, and sun-ripened citrus fruits that give way to an exotically spiced crème brûlée finish.
