Kalamos Winery is 20 minutes’ drive from Paphos town, in the traditional wine village of Amargeti. A family owned business that began its journey from vine cultivators and wine producers that eventually grew into a regional business.
Nicos and his two sons, Thanasis and Michael now produce limited edition, quality wine and wine products, delivered direct to your home or venue all year round.
The winery produces quality local wines like red and white, dry, semi-dry and sweet. Moreover liqueurs, Commandaria and Zivania are amongst the selected products that Kalamos has to offer.

Gerani is produced from the local varieties of “Maratheftiko” (90%) and “Ofthalmo” (10%).
It is a full body dry red wine that is strong in tannins and rich in aromas. Aged in wooden French barrels for twelve months, it has a softer tannins and more complex aromas.
Taste notes: Medium lemon colour, medium body, medium acidity. Aromas and flavors: Lemon blossom, pink grapefruit, peach and apricot. Food pairing: This is a wine you can enjoy by itself on a hot summer day or with seafood dishes such as grilled sea bream, octopus, calamari and a rich Greek salad.
This tasteful light, fresh and aromatic wine is produced from the local grape variety “Xinisteri” which is the most popular white grape of Cyprus.
Ayia Sotira is produced from carefully selected “Mataro” grapes lovingly picked from nearby vineyards at an elevation of 500 meters.
It is a light, fully bodied wine with the typical aroma of this variety of grape and has a powerful red color.
