Ararat 6 Year Old (70cl, 40%)
Strong-willed and deliberate, this brandy knows what it’s about. Rich and sweet, both nose and palate sprint headlong into formidable stewed-orange flavours and a fluttering almond aroma. Lively fruit runs into tart acidity and eventually a long, well-rounded finish underlined by gentle cinnamon and delicious dried fig depth. Sip it on its own or add it to a Brandy Sour and revel in its audacity.
Saint Vivant Armagnac VSOP (70cl, 40%)
This right here is a rare bottle of St. Vivant VSOP Armagnac. The unique bottle shape is said to mimic those used by St. Vivant when he made Armagnac back in the 1500s. It’s very interesting, to say the least.

Well-suited to enjoying as a postprandial tipple, but can also be used in cocktails that need a hearty helping of complex Cognac flavours.
Martell VS (1L, 40%)
An intriguing 2017 release from Martell – it’s a VS Cognac made with spirits distilled exclusively at one distillery! Their reasoning behind this choice (rather than using eaux-de-vie from a selection of Cognac-based distilleries) was to aim for a richer, more intense style of spirit.
