Description
Tasting Note
Nose: Rich and complex. Ripe orchard fruits—baked apple, pear, and peach—combine with honeyed vanilla, caramel toffee, and warm spices like cinnamon and nutmeg. Beneath, hints of toasted oak, dried herbs, and a touch of waxy beeswax add depth.
Palate: Full-bodied and intense. Juicy stone fruits and citrus zest mingle with rich caramel, dark honey, and almond praline. Layers of cinnamon, clove, and white pepper provide warming spice, balanced by a smooth malt sweetness and gentle oak tannins. The high strength delivers power with remarkable balance.
Finish: Long, warming, and layered. Lingering notes of vanilla pod, toasted almonds, and soft spice fade slowly, leaving a satisfying warmth.
Overall: A deeply satisfying Speyside malt with maturity and intensity, where cask strength amplifies rich fruit, spice, and oak complexity without overpowering elegance.
