Officially re-launched in the beginning of 2013, Tanqueray’s limited edition Malacca is a sweet, spicy gin with increased levels of citrus. This is not dissimilar to some of the old-fashioned styles of Old Tom gin, and it works very well in cocktails.

Description

Tasting Note

Nose: Rich, intense spices on the nose with hints of citrus zest, allspice and lemon curd. A little pine needle.

Palate: Thick spices with barley sugar, boiled sweets and earthy juniper. A hint of coriander seed, citrus rind and stem ginger.

Finish: Allspice and ginger, black pepper.

Overall: Very spicy and intense.
