Description
Dalmore 45 Year Old 2018 Release 70cl, 40% is an exceptional Highland single malt Scotch whisky from The Dalmore Distillery, released as one of the distillery’s rare prestige bottlings. This 2018 release was created from some of Dalmore’s rare aged stocks selected by Master Distiller Richard Paterson, giving it serious importance for collectors of old Highland whisky.
The whisky was initially matured in American white oak ex-Bourbon casks before being transferred into two Graham’s Port Colheita pipes dating from 1961 and 1963. It was then married in first-fill ex-Bourbon casks, creating a rich and polished Dalmore profile with port fruit, dark chocolate, honey, dates, red berries and elegant oak.
The supplied image shows the bottle in its original luxury presentation case with crystal decanter styling. With only 500 bottles released worldwide, this is a true centrepiece bottle for serious Dalmore collectors, rare whisky cabinets and prestige Highland single malt displays.
Why Choose Dalmore 45 Year Old 2018 Release 70cl, 40%
This release stands out because it combines 45 years of maturation, rare Port Colheita cask influence and extremely limited availability. The 1961 and 1963 Graham’s Port pipes add depth, fruit richness and luxury sweetness, while the Bourbon cask marriage keeps the whisky elegant and refined.
For drinkers, it offers red fruits, dark chocolate, honey, sticky dates, liquorice, hazelnut and polished oak. For collectors, the 2018 Release identity, 45 year age statement, Baccarat crystal decanter and 500-bottle global outturn make it a highly desirable Dalmore bottling.
