NOSE
Extremely complex, with beguiling notes of melon and apple, then richer notes of brioche, dark chocolate and sweet spice.

PALATE
Rich and mouthfilling. Intense flavours of Demerara sugar, crème brûlée, espresso, clove and cinnamon. Great balance between sweet spice and dryness from the oak.

FINISH
The Christmas spices and toasty oak notes linger for a long time.

COMMENT
Even though this is a blend of some very old rum, the oak notes never dominate. Instead, what we have is a delicious rum packed with fruit and spice, with no single element taking over. A masterclass in blending from one of the industry’s legends. A highly appropriate name, too!.
