Description
Tasting Note
Nose: Fresh and lively. Crisp green apple, ripe pear, and hints of citrus zest mingle with vanilla custard and soft malt. Light floral notes—hawthorn and white blossom—add brightness, while subtle honey and a touch of toasted oak underpin the profile.
Palate: Smooth and vibrant. Juicy orchard fruits—apple, pear, and a touch of lemon—combine with creamy toffee, almond, and gentle spices of cinnamon and white pepper. The malt sweetness is balanced by a faint herbal bitterness and soft oak tannins.
Finish: Medium length, clean and warming. Lingering notes of honeyed barley, vanilla, and gentle spice fade gracefully.
Overall: A charming and expressive Speyside malt, combining fresh fruit and delicate spice with cask strength intensity. Well-balanced and approachable.
