Using a simple cold press, the essential oils used to flavour the vodka are gently pressed from the peels of sweet, but not quite ripe, oranges.
The entire operation is not unlike squeezing an orange or lemon peel between your fingers, breaking open the pores and letting the tartly flavoured microscopic droplets of essential oil burst free.
The oranges are all grown in Italy, primarily Sicily.
